Make motion do the work

Food and beverage brands have an advantage on short-form video: the product can often be shown in motion. Pouring, opening, mixing, tasting, and serving create useful moments to film.

Five repeatable formats

1. The first-taste reaction

Film a genuine first reaction, then reveal what someone tried. Get permission from anyone featured.

Example hook: “Trying our spiciest flavor for the first time.”

2. An unexpected pairing

Show the product used with an unusual but plausible food or drink. Make the combination clear immediately.

Example hook: “We tried this sauce on something unexpected.”

3. The satisfying product close-up

Use a strong visual moment: sauce pouring, carbonation bubbling, a crunchy bite, or a package opening.

4. Behind the product

Introduce a founder, ingredient, recipe test, or packaging decision so viewers can see how a real brand operates.

5. Three ways to use it

One shoot can show three servings, recipes, or occasions. Split them into separate clips or combine them in a montage.

Build a content bank from one shoot

Record close-ups, product-in-hand shots, use cases, reactions, and packaging details. Label clips so they can be reused in new edits later. This creates more options without requiring a full shoot every time.
